Justus, Philo, Seneca, and other contemporaries of J.C. were silent, beacause "Thar warn't no such critter". How much more obvious does it have to become?

Even though the "The Chronicles of the Kings of the Jews" by Justus of Tiberias was destroyed by Christians, probably during the sack of Constantinople in 1204 by fighters of the Fourth Crusade, we know Justus was silent on Jesus of Nazareth becasue Photius, patriach of Constantinople in the late 9th century, wrote reviews of several hundred books in his "Bibliotheca". Wherein Photius wrote of Justus' writing, "of the advent of Christ, of the things that befell him one way or another, of the miracles that he preformed, [Justus] makes absolutely no mention" (Codex 33 {as related in Frank R. Zindler's book "The Jesus The Jews Never Knew" p.15}) Justus knew nothing of any Jesus, or the diciples, or of Paul, Peter, or John even though being located in Tiberias of Galilee he would have had ample opportunity to know of the extraordinary activities of any roaming demigods in the neighborhood. Surely Justus would have written a few lines in mention of the God of Israel incarnated into a local carpenter. However, since Justus is silent, the rational minded person must conclude Jesus of Nazreth is a fiction.

If Jesus of Nazareth actually existed, then why was the ancient historian, and contemporary of the alleged Jesus, Justus of Tiberus completely silent about the alleged savior? Tiberus is located only five miles from where Jesus is supposed to have lived. If Jesus was doing fantastic supernatural things and attracting huge crowds of followers, would it not have come to the attention of Justus? After all Justus was on JC's supposed stomping ground at the same time JC was thought to be doing his Galilee ministry. Why did Justus not write about Jesus? The most likely answer is that Justus knew nothing of Jesus because Jesus did not exist.

Robert M Price in his book "The Incredible Shrinking Son of Man" proves beyond the shadow of a doubt that the New Testament gospels were not written as history. Price shows that the gospels were instead constructed in a layered fashion to provide allegorical liturgical readings for specific faith communities and to promote various doctrinal/dogma positions in order to gain competitive advantage in the war to be the dominate sect of the new Jesus mysteries.

Josephus and Tacitus are no help to the christian as those ancient historians are silent on Jesus, but lying christian scribes redacted and forged thier ancient texts in their desperation to establish an actual historical JC. The case against Antiquities 18 and 20 as well as Annals 15-44 is air tight and a slam dunk. See Ken's article linked below and Earl Doherty's Josephus essay on The Jesus Puzzle site. Frank Zindler points out in his book "The Jesus The Jews Never Knew p.86" that the two versions of the whole Ananus story in Josephus' Jewish Wars 4;3-5 and Antiquities 20 are in gross contridiction wtih each other. There is simply no outside historical witness to Jesus of Nazarath.

Hi.....I have been reading your website "Jesus Never Existed" for 3 days now....almost non -stop. I had been reading the work of Price and Earl Doherty and others and thought your site really put the puzzle together in an understandable format.
Your work is very important and I would like to encourage you to continue in it. It is my belief that Xtianity, Islam, Judaism and other "religions of the book" are the greatest scourge upon our world. The simple minded accept this garbage as literal truth and try to force their false dogma down everyone else's throat through politics, terror and etc. This makes for a dysfunctional, hate filled humanity.
Keep up the excellent work!

Kenneth, You have an interesting web page. ... Your legitimate questioning of the hypocrisy of Christians is evident, but what is not is the goal of your own pursuit, i.e., what is it exactly that you seek out of life? If it is simply to expose the hypocrisy of the church, we do it so well on our own through our misplaced motives and flawed lives that we hardly need someone of your intellect to bother taking the time.

Hey Ken, I absolutely love your site! I used to think that “Jesus Mythers” were crazy, honestly, but the more research I do, the more I am becoming one of them. The light bulb is coming on! Glory!
I am a former fundamentalist Christian. I was a believer for 15 years of my life, until my deconversion in early 2000, which occurred after I encountered a great deal of information on the Net that was critical of the bible and the Christian religion. I am happy now to be a rational non-believer.
