Jesus Never Existed

If you are going to quote Hawking get it right: "The quantum theory of gravity has opened up a new possibility ... there would be no singularities at which the laws of science broke down and no edge of space-time at which one would have to appeal to God ... The universe would be completely self-contained and not affected by anything outside itself. It would neither be created nor destroyed ... It would have neither beginning nor end: it would simply be. What place, then, for a creator?" – Stephen Hawking (A Brief History of Time,136, 141)

At first glance your research appears to be sound, however, you have made huge errors in many places. For example, you say that some of Jesus' acts such as cursing a fig tree were unimportant or unhelpful. This act was performed to show the apostles that Jesus was the Son of God, it was not designed to be helpful. Also, while you are perfectly entitled to believe that Jesus was not the Son of God, but a madman, fool or con-man, it is no longer intellectually sound to claim that there was not a man called Jesus, born of Mary and Joseph, who lived in the biblical times. There is too much secular evidence proving his birth. If science is proving religion wrong, why are so many respected scientists religious? Stephen Hawking is hardly religious but in his book, A Brief History of Time he says: "As long as the universe had a beginning, we could assume it had a creator" If one of the most respected scientists of our time isn't ruling out religion, why are you? Please be aware that I am not trying to dismiss your views which you are perfectly entitled to hold, I am merely exercising my right to dispute and discuss your opinions. Also I am trying to help you see the truth or at least not claim the untrue.

UMMMMM,not really getting this site. However, would be interested in knowing why you've dedicated a site to no one that doesn't exist?Having(admittedly skimmed)had a brief look through the site i'm led to believe you don't believe this chap exists.....not that he did or didn't.As i don't have a faith i'm not too interested in all this jesus,God,Allah and spiritual stuff...but i'm aware that of all the men/women of faith, its Jesus that causes the most strange and often irrational reactions....often of ridicule and hatred. Why? To be honest you've ignited a desire to find wether this guy 'who you say never existed' was real and what he was about...if i find he did live as a real man.I suspect that you've had some bad experiences of this christian stuff(as have i) and have allowed this to cloud your research...be more open mate!Perhaps we should be asking why humans feel the need for a hero and a desire to be saved..most people(i would imagine) on a plane thats about to crash would pray to a God to save them, from what i gather chritians claim that Jesus is the answer to these crys....all be it in an eternal sense..When drowing in a river do we ask for a book that tells us how to swim, seek instuction from well meaning by-standers,think on a scientific level(ummm, this water isn't supporting my weight due...etc)or would it more logical that some one dives in and drags us to safety....which would you prefer?...you getting how the bible views this bloke? I'm still searching mate but hope that with all my atheist doubts that this problem character'jesus'is real......we need all the saving we can get and that means you too,if you're honest enough...well there you go, some bored ramblings of an old ill man....still bitter with the world. may we all be honest to our hearts to the answers we find Luser.

Ken, again a great website. Just keep in mind you must be accurate in the recreation of history and historical events. We cannot analyze those events with todays way of thinking. That is not fair. Just remember 50 years ago Germans, Italians and Japanese had joined forces to conquer Polish, French and British. Spain remained neutral but had their own losses in their civil war. We await your comments on the matter?

What a great compilation of work! I just spent 3 hours nosing around the site. There's absolutely too much to read, so I will have to buy your publications. I would suggest you contact Coast To Coast AM with George Nory or contact Art Bell. I would love to hear you on these radio shows! In fact I am going to email them both right now. I wish you great success!

Great comment, at least some of us are thinking. Unfortunately, there are still men in the world that think they can operate as a one man band and dictate over the lives of others. Bush my think that but his years in power are counted. 3. Then a new man will decide our fate as a nation. Now same as we got rid of Sadam lets fet rid of Fidel Castro and any other dictators out there, but back to the topic. Jesus did exist historically and His Sudarium is the proof.

This is a message for all you good Christians who are in contact with Jesus. Jesus said, “I am not good only God is good”. Therefore "judge ye not, or ye shall be judged" or "Take the plank out your eye before removing the sawdust of another's". By slandering this well informed and enlightening website shows your lack of "faith". Jesus (if he existed) was a freethinker shame you guys are not, so if you see or speak to him, please tell him to be careful. This time it’s not the Jews and Romans he has to worry about. Firstly, it’s the Animal Rights Campaigners. They would definitely prosecute him if they get wind of the fact that he didn’t not make the demons evaporate into thin air but he chose to transfer them to the poor little piggies who had to run several miles in a ‘possessed state’ to the nearest sea. Secondly, the Green Peace mob would be after him, as he is not saving our planet. According to Mark, he cursed a tree to wither and die because its fruit wasn't in season! Next he would be attacked by a banshee of protesting women’s rights activists re. the whole Bible. But his biggest enemy is President Bush. I do not think the president would take on board anything a Jewish Arab (Palestinian?) has got to say, especially, “"Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." "Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also." Jesus would definitely be persecuted as a, “Weapon of Mass Destruction”. SO GROW UP AND PLAY NICELY. HASN'T THERE BEEN ENOUGH WAR, HUNGER, DISEASE, POVERTY & ENVY ALL BECAUSE OF RELIGION's MIND CONTROL OVER IGNORANT FOOLS. If you need to have faith have faith in yourself. If you need to believe, believe in yourself. Afterall man creates God from his own image therefore you are your own God and God is within you. You will be saved and you will go to heaven only if you are good, and Jesus doesn't mind care either way, but the Churches do because they want the POWER to control you and also your MONEY to keep their preachers, clergy in the lifestyle thier accustomed to (Ever heard of the story of the 'Emperor's clothes'?'

For Christians it does. Thats where the controversy comes from. The useful information on Jesus is in the bible, the word of God. Its there, its message is clear, you either believe it or you dont. The choice is yours.
